Omigosh, I never knew how much I adored a matelasse pattern until I laid eyes on this dress...squeal! Flutter sleeves...a sweet leaf-print top and a cream matelasse quilted skirt make the Blune Belle Plante dress (from chic children's site Mini Ruby) one of our spring favorites.
This is a dress I definitely won't be sending her to daycare to prance around in, but it's going to be on constant closet rotation for church, events (hello, Easter egg hunt!) and even weekends. I love to dress little L up in fun dresses - and she loves it, too. It's actually just as comfortable for her to wear a dress than rigid pants, so I let her play in them all the time (granted, we're not partaking in painting or mud! although, this dress is machine washable!)
And don't you think it compliments her pig tails so well? Wink.
