A Little Bit About Me

Hi, I'm Julie! (You can call me Jules...) I was born and raised in the Deep South in 1981, right in the heart of the shoe department, natch. I call myself a fashion and beauty expert, and I think it comes into play every time I put on my fancy lip gloss and suede pumps. It's 
also why I started this blog in May 2008. I. heart. heels. (um, especially the red Report Signature pair above!) After a brief stint as an ASME intern in NYC at Seventeen and a former beauty editor for a regional home magazine, I now scour the country (and nearest grocery store in town!) for the cutest ways to wear all of my favorite shoes and clothing (hello, Barneys). As I like to say, squeal!!!!

Psst...I'm also a celebrity junkie (I'm even an US Weekly stringer!). P.S. Let's add babies to Balenciaga! I had my first bundle of joy (he's dubbed little C. around here) in December 2009 and had my second little lovely in February 2014 (she's little L!). You can say I've found my new love for pacy's along with peep-toes. ;) (Editor's note: we've gotten rid of all the pacys as of 2016, so...) But that still means every Wednesday is a Whiny Wednesday around here. Wink.
