High Heel-a-Thon: Love it!

At 5′3″ inches tall, Kelly Ripa dashes through Central Park in her four-inch heels as part of the first-annual High Heel-a-Thon to benefit the March of Dimes. First-place was awarded $25,000, with second- and third-place winners receiving $5,000 and $2,500, respectively. And the best part? All of the proceeds will go towards improving infant health by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. 

I just think this is the greatest idea ever. Kelly Ripa is such an all-out superstar chick - girl crush! I love to watch her on Regis (if I ever am blessed with the chance of sitting on the couch at home on a weekday morning), not to mention she is just cute as a button. I want to hate her, but somehow I just can’t!

Kudos to the more than 500 Manolo-wearin’, Choo-pimpin’, Louboutin lovin’ girls out there. With a minimum three-inch heel requirement (ouch!), these ladies must be pros at running errands around town! Which comes to prove that yes, you CAN wear heels everywhere.
