I must admit my skin has never been dry one day in my life. While I’m sure all you dry-skin folks spend countless hours trying to find something that will bring a drop of moisture and relief to your skin, I’ve always searched for something to keep the annoyingly reappearing oils on my skin at bay. That’s why I never really wandered into the moisturizing world-I didn’t want to add unnecessary product to already-oily skin. Now that I’m older and wiser? I’ve learned that moisturizer is great for your skin, period. It not only helps with aging signs and wrinkles, but it also just makes your skin feel better and cleaner overall (use one with SPF and you’re even protected!).
Here’s where MLAB comes in. I switched from my old moisturizer, of which I won’t name at this time, to the MLAB Body Treatment Cream. I would normally wait a few more weeks to dish, but I’ve been using it for about a week now and can already see some effects. Even when I dip my fingers in the jar, I can feel the nice, creamy texture-and once on my body? The weight of it is incredible. It feels like a yummy mousse dessert for your skin. And it doesn’t just feel nice-with key clinically active ingredients, it’s meant to target visible signs of aging, enhance hydration (great for summer), smooth skin and promote skin firmness. Who wouldn’t want all those qualities in a body cream, no? I can seriously vouch for this. I’ve been using it on my arms and legs (Note: You should not use on your face or under your eyes-there is a separate cream for that area!)-two areas I’m deeply paranoid about aging, sigh-and they look and feel better than ever. But, I guess at $185, they better, right? My advice: If you have the cash, this is well worth it. Just use a dab a day to make it go a long way. If you’re short on cash, try saving up for it until you have the money and use your favorite drugstore version in the meantime.
