The Sweater Dress (Turtleneck Included)

For the last few seasons, we've seen celebs sporting the sweater dress. See Kim Kardashian, Hilary Swank and Jessica Simpson as examples. What I like about this trend is you can wear it with the chicest riding boots and tights and it's so flattering (granted you don't buy one size too small and have a back end like Ms. Kardashian). The straight, simple line of the dress (which must be solid, might I add) elongates the body from head to toe. Slip on a long necklace or two if you like, or just keep it simple with nothing at all. Pumps work here too, but the boots take the focus off the legs a little. Tights are a must in cold weather and classic hoop earrings add charm.

Added bonus: Strap on a wide belt for instant curves.Try it in the same hue, but a different shade.
