Ok, I admit it. I didn't last very long this New Year's. Considering this is the first New Year's in six years I have spent at home, I swigged a sip of champagne as I watched the ball drop and fell asleep (with my UGGs on) on the couch immediately. Out with the old and in with the new. I, for one, am rather excited to get 2008 out the door and ring in 2009. The past year has brought a lot of illnesses in my family, and I really hope 2009 will be much healthier and happier. Here's hoping.
I'm spending the New Year with my in-laws and since I've been living out of my suitcase quite a bit lately, decided I would not lug with me every product I own. I've been using John Frieda's Sheer Blonde shampoo and conditioner for years (to bring out my highlights - love it, by the way!), but I brought my new Philosophy "cookbook" 3-in-1 shower gel/shampoo/bubble bath minis to give me more suitcase space (and the scents are so nice!). I used the Double Rich Hot Cocoa this morning on my skin and hair. It didn't feel like it was doing much cleaning as I worked it through my hair, but once I finished blowdrying? Amazing! My hair feels so clean (and I didn't even use conditioner - oy!). Sometimes I think it's just good to break up the routine and use something different. Every time I do, my hair seems to amaze me. Tired of using the same ol' products? Branch out and try something new. Your hair will absolutely LOVE you for it!
