How To...Wear a Cardigan (Spring is on the Way!)

Ready for spring? Sounds early, but around here, I've already begun previewing samples from several spring collections. I'm not a winter girl one bit, and looking at all the vibrant colors and lightweight fabrics makes me loooong for spring's arrival. One of my absolute fav lines, Tulle, has some amazing cardigans hitting shelves soon. I am completely crushing on the color Paprika this year - it's a vibrant orange that looks so hot with brown (black turns it into Halloween).

And my favorite piece? The Diamond Knit Belted Cardigan ($78).
Wear it with a cami underneath, or on cooler days with a long-sleeve tee. Tulle has used the Paprika hue before, but I still can't get over how much I love it. The wide collar adds a stylish panache, and there are no closures so you're free to leave it wide open or use the belt that comes with it. My advice? Wear it with jeans and a thin, brown tissue tee underneath and pull the cardigan shut, tying the belt in a double-knot around your waist. Instantly chic and instantly slimming.

P.S. If you love
your cute, affordable Tulle clothing, your little sis is going to LOVE Tullette, Tulle's very own little sis. It's for the younger (cooler? nah!) version of you (OMG!). The Cropped Puff Sleeve Cardigan ($40) is hot for spring, and it looks perfect over a basic tee. Pair it with a printed schoolgirl skirt or comfy jeans. And the color? I recommend it in Bluebird - a soft, baby blue guaranteed to get you in the mood for warm weather. Ahhh...
