Fashion Week Day 4: Alice + Olivia

Last night was the presentation for Alice + Olivia - a label I LOVE! It was pretty much a party with champagne being passed along with mini cupcakes and candy. The designs were far-out mannequins wearing bright wigs as well as 3D-type wall photographs by Mick Rock. There were also three window models on hand. So many celebs showed up to lend support, including the Hilton sisters, the Kardashian sisters, Adrienne Bailon, Julia Stiles, Kristin Bell, Shenae Grimes, Peaches Geldof and even designer Stacey Bendet's own baby daughter! (she just had a baby months ago and looks so good - I couldn't get enough of her darling cocktail dress!)

The collection was amazing - so hipster chic and much more contemporary than a lot of designs I've seen this week (which was refreshing). Leather jackets, zebra prints, studs, rocker tees (loved these!) and even acid-washed jeans (gasp!) made their way into the fall collection. The red satin dress one of the models wore was one of my favs, and I can't get over the Payless shoes. The foldover boots I must have now!!

This party was so much fun (air kisses!) and the motorcycle-chic look is one I'll definitely plan on trying this fall. I wish I could've spent more time here, but had to go stake out my spot for the William Rast show. More details to come on that!
