Not once but twice this month, Carrie Underwood has chosen designer Rene Caovilla heels. For the CMAs, she walked the red carpet in a pair of gold Swarovski crystal platforms, and she wore a pair of classic black satin slingbacks for the Brooks & Dunn Last Rodeo Show.
So, we have a basic rule of thumb here. Glitzy dress=subtle heels. Subtle dress=glitzy heels. Got it?
