Alejandro Ingelmo: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week S/S 2012 ~ I Heart Heels

I admit it, Alejandro Ingelmo is my new shoe designer crush! After checking out the Kanon Bar (at Milk Studios), I headed over to Alejandro's S/S 2012 presentation. When I walked into the room, I literally gasped! The shoes were displayed on glitter-covered acrylic pedestals, each with their very own spotlight (I DIE.) From flats, to sky-high heels, this man sure knows his way to this shoe lover's heart!

This was Alejandro's first appearance at Fashion Week, and I just know he'll be back for seasons to come. He not only had his own presentation for his collection, but his shoes also graced other shows this week; Chris Benz and Helmut Lang. I was blown out of my peep-toes by the detail and craftsmanship of his shoes. My favorite of the night? Wedges with the heel covered in raw Swarovski crystals. I took everything I had not to grab them and put them on. It would have been a total Cinderella moment for me, obvi! If you're looking for that perfect knockout shoe to spice up your wardrobe, look no further than Alejandro Ingelmo. I guarantee you'll be the envy of everyone around you.

P.S. I also must add that he had some men's styles as well. Although they weren't adorned with crystals, they still were just as fabulous, as far as men's shoes go.
