What girl doesn't love Hello Kitty, flirty lingerie and makeup? And
what girl wouldn't love a party where she could divulge in all three??
Well girlies, that's just what I did Wednesday night thanks to I Heart Heels. Hanky Panky has partnered with Hello Kitty and they've come out with a
collection of fun and flirty lingerie with the ever-famous kitty-cat
printed on them.
The collection features lace thongs and boyshorts adorned with
crystal Hello Kitties, and a bralette and panty set covered in a Kitty
print (which is my absolute fav). The pricing ranges from $27 to $98
and is available on hankypanky.com and sanrio.com beginning TODAY . Plus, in support of the Humane Society of the United States, Hanky Panky is donating five percent of all purchases made on their Web site through May 31.
The party took place in an old warehouse (Studio 450) overlooking the Hudson River. DJ
India Jewel Jackson was spinning fun, upbeat music, which only made the
mood that much more fun! Specialty cocktails like the Hello Kitty Tini
and the Hello Mojito were served as guests mingled and took in the
scenery. Of course, Hello Kitty was there to take pictures with guests if they were
so inclined. And who wouldn't want a picture with this fabulous lady? (here I am with HK and Lindsey of caviartaste.com)
Sephora was there with the new makeup collection they have with Hello Kitty that just launched for spring/summer, and guests were treated to mini
makeovers as well. One of the most fun things I've seen in a long time
was the "flip book" video wall. They had several Hello Kitty products
set out on a table and you could choose which ones you wanted to use.
Once you had your product, you stood in front of a screen and made a 10-second video, which they then turned into a flip book! How cute is
that?? This would be such a fun update to a photo booth, right?
To say that my love for Hello Kitty has been renewed, would
be an understatement. I've been a huge fan of Hanky Panky for years,
and this collaboration is genius, if you ask me. So if you're looking
for a few updates to your lingerie collection, Hanky
Panky for Hello Kitty would be the sweetest addition!
P.S. Celeb guests (besides Hello Kitty, duh) included Jaime King (who wore Porter Grey’s silk crepe midi dress with cut-out back, ALDO's Wentzell wedge and Amanda Pearl’s “SOPHIA” Octo clutch in holographic silver), Tiffani Thiessen, Kelly Bensimon, Emily Bergyl (Desperate Housewives), Prince Lorenzo Borghese (The Bachelor) and Jenna Morasca (Survivor).
