As you know, I'm planning on relaxing (or trying to) around the pool this long weekend. Annnnnd, in just a few short weeks, I'll be at the beach. I remember last year thinking there was no way I would own a pair of Sperry Top-Sider shoes. Subject closed, shaking my head. That was then, and this is now. I own a pair of the chic boat shoes (the Angelfish, $80), thanks to PlanetShoes.com (a shoe retailer that focuses on eco-friendly, vegan and wellness shoes), and I couldn't be more happy. No, really.
I always say if I'm not going to be in a pair of heels, my shoes better be darn comfy. And that these are. It's like walking on a cloud of AIR. They have the most cushioned insole my feet have ever met (oh, so this is what it feels like to wear comfortable shoes, my feet ask? haha). This doesn't mean (one bit) I'm abandoning my platforms (no way, ever). But what it does mean, is I have a sweet pair of (seersucker!) boat shoes I can wear all around the beach, the pool, the playground (remember I have a toddler) and on those exhausting shopping excursions (wink).
