Whiny Wednesday: Malin Ackerman Hearts Isabella Oliver

When you're pregnant, you just wanna look presentable, am I right? Nevermind, looking chic, you just wanna look like you didn't just roll out of bed after a night of tossing and turning with no sleep. You totally didn't have an entire morning battling aches and pains from head to toe. Nooooo, not you! But am I right when I say most days are very hard to find your inner chicness? Le sigh. That's why I'm completely swooning over every, single thing Malin Ackerman's been pulling out of her chic maternity bag since she became pregnant. I mean, number one stunna, hello. If only, right?

I do declare she's got all the right pieces to turn her into one hot mama-to-be, with little to no effort. Isabella Oliver is a maternity mainstay in H-wood with the celebs, and I'm in love with every piece. (I know, and I'm not even pregnant!) Everyone's been wearing the Lucy leather jacket (on sale now!), and the cropped moto trend is actually one of my favs for those expecting. When I was pregnant I had a version of this, and I found it to be very flattering to the bump. ;) Plus, it's easy to throw on over everything to instantly dress it up - no thinking involved here. 

But I think my fav piece from the line is the Ruched Tank Dress ($155). I love both of these pieces together, but I really love how Malin's been wearing the dress with her jeans and makes it look so everyday chic, even though it's a dress. Believe it or not, tight pieces likes this are usually more flattering to a bump than gigantic, flowy things that just end up looking sloppy. 

If you're pregnant, I totally rec this line for great pieces...you'll only have to buy a few and you're set! But, for now, I think I'll just admire all of you ladies from my skinny jeans. :)
