Whiny Wednesday: Hilary Duff's Glam in Gold

You guys. little C. is now three and at the cutest stage - he's the sweetest little guy and already says the darndest things! Being a first-time mom, I remember struggling through all the sleepless nights and wanting certain days to just go ahead and fly by (oh, who am I kidding, those still happen!). And then I look at Hilary Duff and her little guy (I think he's 1?) and long for those sweet lil' pacy days when I could easily prop him on my hip and he could barely take those steps down the sidewalk - argh. Why do they have to grow up? Such a cliche mama line, but I'm saying it sincerely. 

And then you have Hilary looking so adorable recently in a Marie France Van Damme gold a-line skirt - eek! It's one of those glam-girl pieces I could def rock as a new mom (um, and now). It's so easy to be chic in this thing...throw it on and WOW. I would say boho chic, but I know you get tired of me using that phrase. This is a pretty luxe line, worn by the likes of Olivia Palermo and Catherine Zeta-Jones. It's sold at Harrods, Bergdorf Goodman and select resorts. You catch my drift when I say I'm not sure I'd just be rolling around town in this expensive garment with a baby (if I had paparazzi chasing me for photos, sure), but you get the point. 

As moms, maxi skirts are our friends. Instead of throwing on another pair of workout pants or ragged jeans, a nice maxi skirt makes things fun - and if you can go gold? All the more glam.
