Emmy Rossum Hosts Origins Smarty Plants Event in NY ~ I Heart Heels

Drats! Kicking myself for not being able to just hop a plane straight to NY for this event invite sent to I Heart Heels. But alas...I heart actress Emmy Rossum, and I totally heart the brand Origins, so I found it necessary to share with you Emmy's involvement with the brand. ER recently hosted the Origins Smarty Plants™ CC SPF 20 Skin complexion corrector launch event benefiting charity: water.

This new product sounds just splendid! And, my gosh, it's one I can actually use now while I'm pregnant. The Smarty Plants™ product (great name, right?!) uses SMART technology to protect, perfect and correct skin - and it contains algae to hydrate! So obviously the other perfect event partner was charity: water (which brings safe drinking water to developing countries) because it, similarly, implements Remote Sensors that have intuitive technology to keep water flowing, correcting if the water project is broken.

Now let's talk about how gorgeous Emmy looked on the "green carpet" in a coordinating J. Mendel blush skirt and top. She paired it with sky-high nude Christian Louboutin heels and a matching clutch, of course! All of the blush tones look super amazing with Emmy's dark hair, agree? And other celebs who attended were Jessica Stroup, Kelly Bensimon and Diem Brown. The crowd danced to runs by popular DJ Hannah Bronfman.
