Isabella Oliver Spring Collection to Launch Next Week! ~ I Heart Heels

Squeal, y'all! Usually I'm so all about winter clothing, I can't stand it. But I feel like I've been in it extra long this season due to my heavy rotation of the same ol' capes and leggings this pregnancy, I'm so ready to move on to lighter, brighter things! Kind of like a ray of sunshine, if you will. I must say, this weekend, is when I finally started feeling a little immobile, for better lack of words, tired and just full-on pregnant. But, thank goodness the weather was warm (60s in January? I'll take it!), so I got my pregnant rump off the couch and put on my cobalt Isabella Oliver tee dress just to make me feel better. You got that right. I put on a dress when I was literally lounging on the couch in PJs, not wanting to move. It instantly cheered me up to put that dress on, take a walk and put on some makeup. Dress-up therapy, anyone? And then I realized how maybe I missed out on not being pregnant in the springtime with so many gorgeous dresses that are so downright comfy...just as comfy as leggings, perhaps!

I'll go ahead and pass the torch to all you girls pregnant in the spring, and let you in on this amazing new Isabella Oliver collection, which officially launches next week! These new arrivals here are just a few of my favorites...beginning Monday, February 3, you'll be able to shop the full thing. This season the collection focuses upon an understated and effortless feel. The signature flattering cut remains true to the brand, while a casual sensibility brings a fresh pared back feel to the collection. Think layers of tonal color, fluid prints channeled through soft layers and sleek tailoring.

I love anything knit you can layer like the Ana Jumper above. Layering is so, so amazing when you're expecting because it can be so versatile, and so flattering. It totally changes your wardrobe! Wear this jumper over a dress, or with a tank and jeans.

Then there's the Seville Tunic Maternity Dress, which is pretty much the shade of blue I own in my IO dress...it's so vibrant and simply gorgeous! This is the dress I would own if I were a springtime mama-to-be. It has a zipper up top, flattering empire waist and sleeves that rest just above the elbows (a wonderful feature...hate awkward sleeves!). It really does look like the perfect fit, and so chic.

And I don't know about you, but come spring, I'm automatically in a maxi dress...it just feels so good! This is the new Vienna Print Maxi that mirrors a graphic snake print. It's in jersey, so it feels amazing, but I also love the crossover style up top. It's not too skimpy with plenty of coverage for the mama-to-be. So pretty and spring perfect.

Bonus? There's a photo of me this weekend heading out for my walk in my IO dress. It's gonna be hard to rid of it, so I might just wear it post-baby as well! I hear it's great for that, and can't wait to try it!
