Happy Friday...squeal! It's the freaking weekend! (Which means nothing to me because I'm a work-at-home-mom, but alas...) Know what I'm excited about now? Emily Current & Meritt Elliott as the official spring style ambassadors for Old Navy. Honestly, Old Navy just keeps getting chicer and chicer.
The collab runs through the end of April and they are unveiling a series of spring style videos and lookbooks as part of the series. The first ("City Break") is live now and features Ascot & Hart owners Laura Wiertzema and Jen Coleman modeling the boyfriend fashion trend with their sons. Visit www.oldnavyontheroad.com to watch it!

We caught up with the Current/Elliott style team for a few style tips on boyfriend dressing and here's what they said:
"[Our] favorite thing about boyfriend dressing is that you can look easy & effortless wherever you go. Even if you wear a heel with your favorite pair of boyfriend denim, it still feels relaxed. If the boyfriend style is slouchier, roll the bottoms and add some nice sandals to elevate the look."
How to style?
Play with proportions - pair slouchy boyfriend denim with a structured top or jacket to keep the outfit chic
Roll it - your sleeves, the cuffs, & the hems
Mix it up with a slouchy boyfriend tee or button down - your wardrobe doesn't have to have just one boyfriend style
We love embracing the hi-lo trend in fashion, and boyfriend denim is the perfect low - it's casual and relaxed
Don't be afraid- the boyfriend trend is for everyone!
