Almost a year ago (hence her fuzzy, barely-there hair), I posted an Instagram shot of her playing in her too-cute polka-dot dress on her new playmat. Innocently. I never imagined it would be used to sell products on a Web site. Both items are sold at Giggle, and the dress is actually a part of the Giggle for JCPenney collab, but I didn't purchase either pieces via Giggle. Whoops.
Nor did I grant permission to use little L's photo on the Giggle Web site, a very popular site that gets tons and tons of views per day. Double whoops. Here's a shot of the article today and you can read it here.
Here is the photo on Giggle before the company decided to remove it. I mean, shop this look?? C'mon.
What are your thoughts about companies using kid's photos without permission? To sell their product?
I'd love to hear!
