How I Wore My Heels: The Long Vest

Lately these ankle booties I found at the back of my closet are all I wear. Don't you just love it when you forget about shoes you own and totally rediscover them? It's why I hate getting rid of my shoes...wink. These are by Luxury Rebel (a line once made by the amazing shoe designer Jean Michel Cazabat) and they're just fantastic to wear and so on trend. 

A few weeks ago I scooped up a few things from the Adam Lippes for Target plaid collab and this sweater vest was one piece I bought (I'll have to show you the heels later!). I had been searching all over for the perfect long vest to layer over everything this fall, and this one was a def winner. It has a belt, but I always wear it open like so - and while I've worn it with pants, I've found I really love it more with a short dress like this one from contemporary label Jaggar. I found the bib necklace at Forever 21 recently, and my Brahmin patent Asher tote is a classic. 


This is a great work outfit, but it's so versatile it's one of those outfits that can literally go from day to night. And when it gets cooler, just add tights. (Um, but once you start the tights thing you can't go back and I'm just not ready yet. Sigh.)
