Fashion Week 101: Runway Ready

It’s NY Fashion Week (hip hip hooray!), so I’ll be posting trends, tips and as always, giveaways. Obviously you don’t have a runway to prep for at home (or maybe you do?), but the street is your runway, and it can be just as scary out there. There have been countless times I have walked to my car in the morning only to realize I have a wardrobe malfunction. I shouldn’t have washed my black pants the night before with the towels-eek! Or my new fuzzy sweater? It’s decided to ruin my day by shedding all over my new skirt.
Well, wardrobe malfunctions solved. Introducing Miss Oops-perfect for quick fixes to life’s little problems. Whether it’s the catwalk or the sidewalk, Miss Oops tools are designed to solve everyday fashion crises. What’s even cooler? Tracy Reese (one of my FAV designers!) will have her Miss Oops favorites backstage at her show Sunday in the tents of Bryant Park. The lint roller above is my favorite. It’s so cute and portable, you can travel with it anywhere. The Mishap Tape is basically double-sided tape to fix gaping blouse, falling straps (or that J Lo cleavage-baring dress that just won’t stay put). And the Rescue Sponge is so cool. I know I hate it when I get deodorant on my shirts. This buffs it out in no time and it’s portable too!
