I don’t know why it is, but I LOVE the high-waisted red skirt Lauren Conrad sported while reportedly on her way to visit a psychic Tuesday. She ate at Joan’s on Third that same day (I went to the supposedly celeb-packed bistro in April-who did I see? Nothing but an incredibly too long lunch line and certainly no Katie Holmes!). But back to the skirt! Yes, she does often do the whole tank plus high-waisted skirt thing. However, I think it’s the beautiful crimson tone that makes it extra-special. The high waist and smooth transition from tank to skirt makes her waist appear tiny (as if it wouldn’t be anyway?) and the just-right pleats add style and a bit of cutesiness. Who wouldn’t want to be shopping with this girl?
