So I went to see Sex and the City this weekend-fashionistas beware! I wanted everything on that screen-sigh. The movie was everything I had hoped for and more. Cinched belts, gigantic jewelry and Manolos everywhere, I couldn’t stop drooling! This flick was truly one made for fashion-gazing, and that I did. Things I picked up on?
1. Samantha’s hair looks so much better in a headband.
2. I LOVED Charlotte’s pink shoestring swimsuit. (On the hunt for it now.)
3. Carrie loves belts (they all do) and I know why-way flattering!
4. Miranda totally rocks the all-brown look. Being a redhead, I love brown and try to wear it as much as possible, but never realized the impact. I shall wear all brown this week.
So, I won’t ruin the movie for you, but perhaps my favorite near-the-end-scene involved a shoe-a high heel, no less. Ladies (and maybe some gentleman?) may I present to you (drumroll, please), the custom-made Manolo. And it can be yours for only $885 on June 9. The exact replica will be available at the New York store. Can you imagine? I think my pocketbook and I will be just as content drooling at them on this page.
