The No-Pants Look?

Ok, I admit I am a sucker for jumping on the bandwagon of so-called up-and-coming trends. I bought the infamous Gypsy dress, I’ll probably wear plaid this fall, and I absolutely follow the belted dress trend editors so adore. But the no-pants look? Forget it! I actually don’t even know what they were thinking. You can’t just pair anything with Louboutins and it will work (I know, I thought they would cure everything too)- ahem, Blake Lively. Drop your earring, Blake? Too bad-you’ll have to have your publicist pick it up for you (as if she wouldn’t anyway, but that’s beside the point). One more inch forward and you’re showing waaaay too much. 

As for Mary Kate? Why even make an attempt to dress anymore? I’m so surprised her new line with Ashley, Elizabeth and James, is so decent. Girl has not stepped out in ANYTHING decent in the past three years. Sure, a little bagginess gives you a little extra weight (ok, that was wrong, forgive me), but throwing on an old (plaid, it may be) shirt to go out is not fashion. It’s a disgrace to fashion and a bandwagon I refuse to join.
