Shining Stars

I hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day weekend and spending time with those you love as we remember those who have died for our nation. I’ll keep it short today so we can all get back to enjoying the last of a great long weekend. To keep with the holiday, today’s trend: stars.

If Nicky and Beyonce can sport them, so can you! Considering they are two way different body shapes and they both look great, I think this is a trend anyone can try. But, since the pattern’s so busy, I wouldn’t try it with just anything! Even Beyonce’s star-studded necklace is a little over-the-top for me. I do like the simple pairing with white or black because matching it with anything too loud (i.e. bright colors or animal print patterns) would just be too overwhelming. And if you like Nicky’s Lacey Parker dress enough, it’s on sale now at Intermix. Like they say: If you can’t beat them, join them!
