I've had a thing for Michael Stars for quite some time. And before you start spreading rumors (or my husband reads this in dismay!), I mean the designer. His classic tees are brilliant. Who else makes a "one size fits all" and is completely serious about it? One of my first tees was a shimmery purple three-quarter sleeve (so flattering) crossover tee. I loved it and wore the heck of it. It lasted for years until it finally became a midriff-baring style and I felt a little uncomfortable reverting back to my 80's days.
Several years (and tees) later, I searched for that perfect LA casual cool tee on my trip to Kitson. And of course, I ended up with a green and gray long sleeve Henley (of which I shoved in my suitcase during the unusual 90-degree weather and immediately sported it back home).
The tanks are a huge favorite of celebs like Ashley Tisdale (she loves them!) and Gisele Bundchen (if only I looked the same in my tank, ha). Ashley recently wore the Supima Vee Neck Cami Tank around town to run errands, while Gisele wore the Supima Modal Racer Back Tank ($36) while hanging with Mr. Tom Brady (fiance, hmmm?).
