I know you would rather read about today's Fashion Week shows, but I have a confession. I did not make it to my two shows today because Friday I was called by The David Letterman Show about tickets to today's show. After much thought and consideration, I decided I would go. I've been wanting to go ever since I became the first (I repeat, first) person in the standby ticket line during my summer in NY in 2003. And no, they did not take one person! If you're watching the show right now...yep, that's me in the back! ;) The show was well worth it and a lot of fun - I don't regret it one bit. Although, I wish the guests would've been a little better (no offense, Bonnie Hunt, you were great!).
And to boot, about a couple of hours ago, I got back from the NY Knicks game (Knicks win, gasp!) versus the San Antonio Spurs. And you know what that means. Yes, Eva Longoria was there front and center cheering on her man (in heels and a dress, no less). She chatted it up with her tall, leggy friend and raised her hands in the air when the Spurs would score (too bad it wasn't enough, Eva). Whoopi was also there next to her lookalike friend with braids. They put her on the big screen, but I had noticed her loooong ago through my stalkerific binoculars.
P.S. Tomorrow I'm back to the Tents with exclusive coverage of Amanda Pearl, Marchesa (backstage!), Carmen Marc Valvo, Vivienne Tam (they'll have live blogging stations!) and Milly. Until then. -xoxo
