The Vena Cava show featured hair by renowned stylist Ted Gibson (of whom I get to meet tomorrow at Carmen Marc Valvo - yea!!) and make-up by artist Vincent Longo (nails were by Nonie Creme from Butter London) - all on behalf of Beauty.com.
Vena Cava's fall collection this year was very dark and muted, so to contrast with this look, the eyes were bright with thick orange eye liner (great for the runway, although not so sure I'd rock this in my cubicle?). The brows were thickened and the lips left natural (Rosewood Passion lip pencil and Hush Delight lipstick were the hues used) with an overall matte, porcelain complexion. So fresh and pretty!
The hair was slicked back on both sides (with Ted Gibson's Fix It) to create a slightly messy, rocker chic look (great for all those leather motorcycle jackets and fringe, right?). The texture in the back was the product of Tame It and Beautiful Hold hairspray was used to keep everything in its place. Yes, it takes work even to look disheveled.
