Can I tell you how excited I was to find an entire outfit for just
over $100 at Kohl's? Pretty (ok, major) excited! I've been waiting and
waiting to wear my fav spring trend - white - for months now. I know some
folks swear by wearing white all year round, but this southern girl
just can't get used to it. So, without further ado, can I introduce you
to the newest additions to my closet?
When I went
shopping at Kohl's the other day, I was on a super-duper hunt for white
jeans that were cropped (I already own a bootcut pair, natch). That way I
can show off all of my fabulous spring wedges, right? So, I was amazed
to find this white pair by ELLE on sale for just $27.99. I must admit
that's the least amount I've ever spent on a pair of jeans, and there is
absolutely nothing wrong with the quality or style of these…I love
them! Plus, you can wear them cuffed or rolled down - gotta love
versatility. I decided to pair my white with color and (gasp!) a
print. LC Lauren Conrad makes some of the greatest pieces and this silky
floral top (on sale for $33.60) even came with a built-in cami to save
all of my worries about what to wear underneath. I love the cut-outs on
the sleeves and the billowy style pairs perfectly with a skinnier
bottom. I'll more than likely wear this all the way until fall, it's so
comfy and lightweight.
And the wedges? No, I couldn't leave Kohl's
without them. This is the second pair of LC Lauren Conrad shoes I've
purchased in a month's time span, and I must say I'm addicted. I love
the fun colors, and they just so happened to coordinate to a tee with
this top. I'm sure LC planned that, right? Wedges and I are BFFs, so I
was pretty excited to add this to my shoe collection for just $44.99.
Yep, they were on sale, too! I just love looking at that receipt at
checkout that lists "total saved." Today? I saved $59.41 - yay!
If
you wanna work white into your wardrobe this spring, try color or a
print like I did. It makes white so much more wearable and fun! And if
you wanna save money on your white look, head to Kohl's…seriously.
